The Finer Things Always Go Unnoticed: a really short story by Jaime
Over a period of time through which most things must pass, a curious thicket of shrubbery began to sprout from the base of her neck.
The sad thing was, however, the only thing people ever paid notice to on the body of Lucinda Palincatovia wasn’t the prickly Crown of Thorns blooming between her first and second vertebrae. Rather, it was the horse-shaped pine fungus lingering about her abdomen.
What a shame. She was such a pretty girl.
