2017 Comedy Pet Photography Awards Finalists
Getting ready to Aw, Guffaw, and spit your milk out your nose. We got here the 15 finalists (plus a few others I felt were too funny to pass up) of the inaugural Comedy Pet Photography Awards! This fun and hilarious contest brought to you by the creators of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards has given proud pet owners a place to show off their crazy and lovable pets to the world. Plus entries could win some awesome prizes, too!
This new awards competition was organized by photographers Tom Sullam and Paul Johnson-Hicks to support the Born Free Foundation, a worldwide wildlife charity that works to save endangered species. From over 2,500 entries, they have painstakingly narrowed down the comical pics to their favorites. Winners will be announced at the end of August You can also see more on their Facebook page!

“Show Me Your Best Smile” taken by Andreas Ettl provides further proof that horses in Iceland are just plain loopy.
“On Guard” This wacky cat snapped in Gent, Belgium by Brecht van Gampelaere reminds me of our lunch room monitor back middle school.
“Riding Along” An amazing silhouette of two dogs, one riding bareback taken by Alice van Kempen in Rockanje, Netherlands.
“That’s the Spot” Axl Marsh of Minnesota, USA caught his pony taking a good ol’roll in the hay.
Esra Tatar’s crazy kitty mugging it up for the camera in Kuching, Belgium.

“I Didn’t Mean It!” A little sibling rivalry between the competitive pups of Nathan Schmidt of Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA.
